• Please explain why I was selected two times this month
  when I am enrolled in once per month plan.
• How quickly can I get results and who can
  obtain certified copies of the results?
• Does the lab verify the testee is actually
  the individual producing the specimen?
• Can the administrator call for a test
  for the testee on a particular day?
• Can there be gaps in the testee's availability like a preplanned
  trip where the testee is away from a laboratory? What if I get
  called for testing on a day when I simply cannot make it to
  the testing site (out of town, for example)?
• What about prescription medications that I am taking under
  a doctor's supervision? Will they cause a positive result?
• What options do I have if I test positive
  and I know I haven't used drugs?
• Who pays for the drug or alcohol test,
  the employer or employee?
• Is there a list of prohibited drugs for being medically
  qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)?
• What chemicals/intoxicants are detected in a ten-panel screen?
• Do you have special procedures for treating minors?

This process is *random*, which means next month you might be called five or even six times. It is mathematically impossible to be *both* random and precise. We cannot be truly random AND declare precisely how many tests will occur in a period. What we actually do is set the "odds" such that over a period of time you will get exactly the amount of tests you requested… actually a few more… like a "baker's dozen". Our formulas are based on the premise: X number of tests in a Y period of time… accounting for weekends and holidays. In the end, the math works out to give you exactly what you requested.

Security measures exist at the lab to assure the test is performed properly. Urinalysis testing maintains temperature gauges attached to the collection cup

to determine whether the temperature of the urine sample is within the range

of appropriate temperature for proper collection. Hair and fingernail samples

are removed by the lab technician from the testee's person. Blood is drawn

from the testee by a phlebotomist at the laboratory. DrugProof certified labs take precautions to ensure exact results.

DrugProof goes to great lengths to locate qualified laboratories in the civilized world. Please contact DrugProof to locate a test site in the area prior to your leaving. Some administrators view a missed drug screen as a "dirty drug screen". Your failure to participate in a random test is strictly between youand the administrator of your account. However, this would be at the discretion of the administrator.

Controlled substances will be revealed with testing. Notify the

administrator of your subscription/test of any medications properly

prescribed by a medical professional.

Get retested immediately. False positives are very rare. DrugProof stands behind its testees in producing proper results. Testees must register take another test through DrugProof within twenty-four (24) hours of the results having made available and DrugProof will reimburse the testee for the cost of the exculpatory test if the results differ.

Payment may be based an understanding between the employer and
employee, including applicants for safety-sensitive positions. An employer

may not, however, refrain from sending a split specimen" for testing

because the employee does not pay for the test in advance."

49 CFR Section 391.41(b)(12) states: A person is physically qualified to drive a CMV if that person does not use a controlled substance identified in 21 CFR 1308.11, Schedule I, an amphetamine, a narcotic, or any other habit-forming drug. Exception: A driver may use such a substance or drug, if the substance
or drug is prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner who is familiar with
the driver?s medical history and assigned duties; and has advised the driver that the prescribed substance or drug will not adversely affect the driver?s ability to safely operate a CMV. This exception does not apply to methadone. Medical Examiners are required to give careful consideration to the effects of medications on a driver?s ability to operate a CMV safely before rendering
the driver qualified.

"Ten-panel urine screen" consists of the following:

1. Amphetamines (including Methamphetamine)

7. Methaqualone
8. Opiates (Codeine, Morphine, Heroin, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, etc.)
9. Phencyclidine (PCP)
10. Propoxyphene

A parent or legal guardian should accompany the minor. If you are not
the legal guardian, you will need a notarized statement signed by a parent
or the legal guardian authorizing you to give permission for services and
billing, if appropriate.
